Kerakoll announces the appointment of a new DACH Regional Director

The Kerakoll Group is continuing its process of internationalising.

The Group aims to consolidate the brand and the system of products and services available on the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).

Sassuolo, 4 June 2024 – Kerakoll Group, a B Corp certified Benefit Company and multinational leader in construction materials, has announced that, as of June this year, Michael Heim has joined the Group as DACH Regional Director and General Manager of Kerakoll GmbH.

“This appointment represents an important new step in Kerakoll’s internationalisation process and will give a major boost to our brand and our integrated products and services system on the German, Austrian and Swiss markets, which are among the most strategically interesting for our Group,” commented Marco Zini, Chief Executive Officer of Kerakoll Group.

Michael Heim is joining the Group’s international organisation and will work alongside Pau Ramia (Regional Director for West Europe), Ahzam Javed (Regional Director for APAC) and Carl Gardner (Regional Director for UK, NL & Nordics).

After specialising in Business Administration, Michael joined Mapei and held roles of gradually increasing importance in the field of Product Marketing and Sales, eventually rising to the position of Sales Manager Germany. Before joining Kerakoll he also worked with Wienerberger, the Austrian leader in building materials, as Head of Indirect Sales.

We want to inspire customers, involve collaborators and build the future of our sector together,” declared Michael Heim, the new Regional Director DACH and General Manager of Kerakoll GmbH.

Kerakoll GmbH was formed in 2006, replacing the old Slc Deutschland GmbH. Today, the company markets building materials in the areas of substrate preparation, tile, natural stone, wood block and resilient flooring and surface design.
